This gem was from Isaac's Christmas performance at his preschool. Yes, he is the LOUD one and it was the BEST!
I did replace my camera that I lost in Hawaii with one that I like much, much better. I got a cross between an SLR and a point and shoot and I think it's just what we needed! Canon G16. Great deal just before Thanksgiving, woo hoo!
Here are some photos between Thanksgiving and Christmas...I've been so slack on this blog lately. Feelin' a little guilty that Isaac will be able to read much more about his early years than Sam...sorry Sam!
They love that Unky Nate!
Thanksgiving with the Stireman fam!
My siblings Nate, Ben and Drew and I on Thanksgiving 2013
This gigantic gumball machine was acquired from BobsiPop from one of their jobs in Florida. It is HUGe, complete with quarters that are locked away with no key (college savings? haha) and Isaac has been utterly obsessed with it making it's way to Utah since he saw it when we visited Dave's family in Florida in July. This picture illustrates his ownership over this gumball machine. He has since relaxed and although he happily told our dentist on the last visit that he has a "huge, huge, huge, huge gumball machine" he has not been too obsessed (after the first couple of days) of actually chewing the gum. So, if anyone has a hankering for gum, you know where to find us.
Sam and "Pa" at Isaac's Christmas story play at school.
He was so proud to be one of the Three Kings.
We of course loved going to Quinn's annual Christmas for Kids party/book exchange.
Sam checking our our new book on dad's lap.
Isaac baked cookies for their elf, Michael Jackson.
Babsi and Pop came in early Dec. and stayed through the holidays. It was fun having them around and the boys loved all the attention.
Even Isaac is astonished when he finishes his entire meal.
Who needs Christmas presents when you can do this?
Our cute Day-Z dog. 14.5 years here.
Cuddling....
All my boys!
Love these guys...
Jiri, Dave and Isaac built a snowman in the front yard after a huge snowstorm we had on the 20th. THis was a couple days later. Isaac is usually very hesitant about playing in the snow, but he had fun for a little while anyway :)
Aunt Clare in Colorado sent these elf hats to Utah, so of course on Christmas Eve at my parents we all had to take pictures in them.
Even the dogs...dog cousins Gramps and Truman
Mary calls this the Borden(?) cow face. haha.
Pa reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas" on Christmas Eve to the boys.
Christmas Jams from Nana and Pa
Bobsi and Pop, I mean Santa, made this gingerbread house from scratch for the boy-os. Later, Isaac opened all his stocking candy and made a candy pile that he called the house's "trash pile" on the side of the house.
Christmas Morning - Sam checking out his less exciting stocking stuffer - socks.
He asked Santa for a Darth Vader Angry Birds stuffed animal for at least 2 months.
Sam sitting on a mini-trampoline reading one of his new books.
Christmas Day.
Dave bought Isaac a crystal growing kit for Christmas. We take science seriously around here - lab coats, goggles, crowns.
